In August of 2016, the congregation of St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church had their church deconsecrated and sold off – one of the most recent casualties of aging congregations and poor attendance.
The new owners purchased it with the intent to preserve this landmark and ensure it continues to grace the eastern shoreline of the LaHave River. It is not to be used for full time residential or commercial purposes.
The interior of the church remains the same as it was prior to purchase.
